Weight Loss Case Study

Dear Readers,

One week ago I met a man who was in pain which prevented exercise for weight loss.
He had hurt his foot and showed inflammation which was tender to the touch and reported pain in the low back, neck and shoulders after even moderate exercise.
Upon examination, we determined that he had an imbalance which was treatable with a change in diet. In other words, an alteration in eating habits would provide relief of his painful symptoms and have the added benefit of healthy weight loss.
The challenge was to impress upon him the need to do so, and to discover they best way to make this happen.
After interviewing him about his preferences and what he was willing to change, we created a simple program of protein and greens seasoned with 4 warming spices.
After an initial reaction, his body accepted the change, and now (5 days later) he is out of pain and 5 lbs lighter. After this initial success, the challenge will be to build on the progress already made and make the new food choices a habit.
Stay tuned for future reports.
